in the world of Etsy, being featured on the front page is one of the highest honors, and today my lacy crochet-edged leggings were there! the front page changes all the time (every hour?) so it’s easy not to even know your piece was ever there; fortunately it’s such a supportive community that your friends, and even people you’ve never met, will let you know, and maybe even send you a screen grab (thanks jill, cris and modadesigns)!
also, if you ever hear a rumor that you were on the front page but you missed seeing it, there is an etsy front pagers’ flickr group that archives them, which i find very comforting to know.
there is also a site called craftcult.com that will show you if you’ve been on the front page (and tell you lots of other things too) because not all front pages get on the flickr site. Congratulation on the feature! and congratulations on that fantastic book of yours. I just got it from the library and can’t put it down.
