YAY sasha! any kind of paper works. i never use *real* pattern paper. grocery bags work fine, or taped together printer paper, or a large sketchpad (what i use)…

Oh I also have a tiny suggestion/correction for your a-line pattern drafting class on Creativebug, where it differs from the book, kinda crucial…is there a non-public way I can get it to you? It’s only a sentence…sorry if this is intrusive…

I’m in! Whether it’s too late or not, ! Actually, I purchased your book about a year ago – which was also the same time I first threaded a sewing machine – so I’ve only gotten around to being able to really use it over the past couple months. And I LOVE it. And then I found you on Creativebug! And then my mom got a perfectly fitted A-line Skirt for Mother’s Day that she wore to WORK! Talk about being proud of myself- myself – Thank you so much, Cal!

Hi there! I did not know where to leave this comment, so I am putting it here. I just got your book and it is fantastic! I have been sewing for much of my life but just within the past couple of years have been making my own patterns. Your book is such a great guide! I cannot wait to re draft some of my patterns, and see how much better they can be! Thank you!
